Hi Everybody, it’s Me, Alex!!

Well, it’s almost Chrimmas time and that means a lot of different things to me. First, it means that if we’re really lucky, it might snow on Chrimmas. It doesn’t snow here in Houston very often, but it does in Auntie Wisa’s Houston. More important than having snow on Chrimmas is having family. We invited everybody in ours family to come to Houston for Chrimmas and nobody wants to come. That makes me sad because in the 11 years we’ve lived here, nobody has ever wanted to come to ours house for Chrimmas. If we wants to spend the holidays with our family, we gots to be the ones to buy the airplane tickets and stand in line and get all of our presents and ship them in boxes and fly to Minnesnowda and then ship all our presents back home and come back on the airplane. It’s not fair!!

salvation Army Angel TreeMost important, though, is helping other peoples have a better Chrimmas. Mommy makes sure every year that we can helps some little kids have a good Chrimmas. At work, Mommy gets cards from the Salvation Army Angel Tree and then we go buy presents for little boys and girls who wouldn’t have a Chrimmas otherwise. Then we donate toys to the Toys for Tots program, we help give some monies to the Food Bank so that hungry peoples can have Thanksgiving and Chrimmas dinner.

Will you, my online friends, help us helps other peoples, too? You don’t gots to donate to the same peoples we do because we know you lives in other places, but it’s important to reach out and help other peoples, especially this time of year when it’s cold and harder for peoples to get to their families.

Happy Thanksgiving!! Happy Turkey Day!!

Thanksgiving BreakfastWe hope everybody had a great Thanksgiving! Mommy maked us some warm orange rolls for breakfast. For dinner we had a turkey and some stuffing and corn and sweet potatoes and fruit salad!! We shared our rolls with all our Flickr friends.

Who Wants to Watch a Movie? After dinner, we invited all our Flickr friends to come over and watch movies with us. We had “The Grinch,” “The Santa Clause,” “Cars,” “The Shaggy Dog,” and “The Polar Express.” We all voted on which one to watch and decided to watch “The Polar Express.” It was a good movie! We never seed it before and we liked it a lot!!

Hi Everybody, it’s me, Alex!!

The Birthday Bunny!
Happy Birthday, Auntie Wisa! Sorry our blog post is late!

It was Auntie Wisa’s birthday last week and we sended her some cool presents!! Mommy even messed up when Auntie Wisa called and telled her about one we are going to send for Chrimmas! Oops!!

When her was here with Miss Mouse, her asked Mommy to maked her a calendar with everybody’s birthdays on it. So Mommy looked all over for a perfect calendar. Her finded a Garfield calendar and putted everybody’s birthdays on it. Then we getted her some pretty Barbie collector plates, some neat teaspoons like that pretty girl on the Food Network, and some cool sweatpants that Mommy said were called pedal pushers. Her liked all her presents a lot! We were really glad!!

We always know that Chrimmas is coming when it’s Auntie Wisa’s birthday. Now we’re trying to find presents for everybody for Chrimmas! Yay!! Chrimmas!! We gots a couple of things for Auntie Wisa and Miss Mouse. The hard ones are Nana and Poppa and CJ. Sometimes we have a hard time finding things for CJ’s daddy, but we usually can find something.

Know what else happens when it’s Chrimmas time? Mommy does her Chrimmas cards. Guess what? We are doing our own Chrimmas cards this year!! It’s so cool! We getted addresses for all our friends and the ones that we knows where they live is getting Chrimmas cards! Well, we’d better get working on those again. We’re almost done!!

Hi Everybody, it’s me, Alex!

Remember how I was telling you stories about when I was little? Well, I gots another one. It’s about my second bestest friend, Lindy. Mommy said I needed to tell you that this is a true story, not maked up.

SpamWhen I was little, Mommy getted us a puppy named Spam. Then her seed that they had dalmation doggies and her wanted one. Daddy goed to a Fort in Wisconsin one time for training because him was in the Army, and him brought back this neat little dalmation doggy for us!! We loved him very much. Daddy named him Lindy because him had ears that sticked out and Daddy helped him fly like a helicopper. We knowed that when him getted bigger, Lindy would want to be in the Army just like Daddy because him was such a good helicopper pilot.

One day, just before Chrimmas in 1990, our daddy had to go stay at the armory and then right after Chrimmas him goed to the war in Saudi Arabia. Well, one day Mommy was putting together a care package for Daddy. It had some cool stuff in it like cookies and books and pictures and all kinds of stuff. At the end of packing the box, Lindy telled us that him was old enough and ready to go help Daddy in the war. We was very sad that him was going to leave us but we knowed that him would help Daddy lots and Daddy would take good care of him.

POW/MIAWell… oh, this is still so hard for us!! Lindy never getted to our Daddy’s base. We don’t know what happened to him. It was so sad. We all cried for a long time. Daddy comed home from the war after six months. Lindy never getted there and him never comed back home. Daddy said him is something called Missing In Action (MIA) or that him could be a Prisoner of War (POW) at the big building where the government loses our mail. Even worse yet, Daddy said that him and the box might have getted throwed away. We think that him was doing something very important and has never been able to call us or write or anything because him’s on a secret mission.

Lindy, we still love you and are still waiting for you to come home!! Please let us know you’re okay!!

Love, Alex

Update: We maked a poster and putted it on Flickr where lots of peoples could see it. Maybe someone will tell us what happened to him.

Mommy reminded us that today is Veteran’s Day, too. Thank you to all of the mommies and daddies and brothers and sisters and friends in the Navy, Army, Air Force, Marines or Coast Guard. We know you all gots really important jobs to do to keep us all safe.

Happy Halloween Everybody, it’s me, Alex!!

HalloweenEven though we didn’t find a punkin patch to play in, Mommy taked us out for Halloween!! We getted our costumes on and goed to the party at the church!! We helped lots of kids make punkin picture frames from little foam kits. It was loads of fun!!

Scaredy Bear was a pirate

I was a rock star. Mommy called me Alex Van Halen!! Hahaha!!

Gregg was a court jester. Him said him wants to wear that to the Renaissance Festival. Wouldn’t that be neat?

Klondike came as a musher – that’s the guy who steers the sled for the Alaskan doggies.Piggi’s friend was a astronaut.

Piggi was a NASCAR pit crew manager.

Bear was a punkin!! Him asked one of the punkins there if they’d seen their mommy! It was so funny!! We laughed so hard we almost wet our costumes!!

We hope all of our friends had a great Halloween and got lots of treats and getted to play some tricks!!

Hi Everybody, it’s me, Alex!!

First, Mommy finded the box with all of our costumes and other clothes in it! Yay!!! Rover wasn’t in the box, though. Her’s still looking for Rover. We said we should call him’s name and see if him comes out of his super duper secret hiding spot.

Poopy Punkin PatchWe was all excited that we was getting to go to the punkin patch. Well… it was a long drive in the car and it was very hot outside and guess what happened when we getted there!! There was NO punkin patch!! None! Zero! Zippo!

Mommy says I should be more truthful than that. Okay, there was a place called the Pumpkin Patch, and there was some punkins there, but there was no punkin patch to play in! We thinked we was going to get to go pick ours own punkins and we couldn’t! There was tons and tons of kids there and some places for them to play, but no place we could play. We couldn’t even get out of our special travel Tardis because there were so many kids there and Mommy was afraid somebody would try to steal us. :o(

Sitting on CorvettesMommy said there was another punkin patch on the other side of town that might have a real punkin patch to play in. That sounded like lots of fun!! In between trying to find the punkin patches, we goed on a car ride with the corvette peoples. They stopped at a bunch of places and everybody had costumes on so we pretended we was monkeys like our friends, Monkey & Timmy!! Mommy’s friend let us sits on his car for this picture. We likes his car a lot because him’s got a DVD player in the car and we can watch movies!! It’s super duper cool!

Boat RideWhen we getted there we couldn’t find any punkins growing in a patch. We was so sad!! They had some things to play on so we goed for a boat ride instead. There were some aminals there, too, but some other kids scared them away before we could pet them or Mommy could get a picture of them. Her said we were going to try to go to one more punkin patch but we had to hurry because they closed at dark. Well, we didn’t get there before dark. Oh well… Mommy tried and that’s what counts!!

Love, Alex
